主要研究方向：传质与分离工程，新型化工设备开发，化工节能工艺集成。

主持完成项目：

神华宁煤83万吨二甲醚项目塔内件开发（中国天辰工程公司），蒸氨工艺技术开发（天津市津南铆焊一厂），焦化厂脱苯塔技术开发（天津智赢友成科技有限公司），饱和热水塔技术改造（青县大地化工有限公司），2.8万吨/年冰醋酸项目技改（南宁化工集团）等等，共为国内炼油、焦化、化肥、氯碱、化工等企业二百多座工业塔器进行了工程设计，使用单位遍及国内二十八个省市自治区，均取得良好的经济效益和社会效益。
